You know, as much as I appreciate how the Robot Master were characterized in Powered Up, they have much more depth in the comics. I can see why Light would reform them and why Rock considered them his brothers.

I really like the characterization in this issue. Maybe it should've been built up more and only released at the very end of the arc, but Mega man really needed some personal conflict involving his toxic addiction towards his Elemental Weapons and desensitization to violence.

To be honest, the pacing feels to be too fast to the point where the Robot Master battles are anticlimactic, but the artwork and characterization make up for them.

I probably should've said this montjs ago when I first watched this video, but this is a great start to the Archie run. There could've been more buildup and some of the voices I prefer from Mega Man Powered Up, but it's enjoyable noneoftheless.
